The China Center awarded the 2024 Sping Lin and Ying-Ngoh T. Lin Visiting Scholars fellowship to Dr. Juanjuan Wu (pictured), a professor of retail merchandising in the College of Design. With the $7,500 award, Dr. Wu will sponsor a professor from Shanghai University of Engineering Sciences for collaborative research in Chinese fashion.
The Sping Lin and Ying-Ngoh T. Lin China Center Visiting Scholars Initiative increases opportunities for University of Minnesota faculty and staff to host visiting scholars who will foster and grow connections with the country and cultures of China.
