Chinese New Year

Annually, at the time of the traditional Chinese New Year celebration, the China Center holds a celebration to recognize donors, supporters, scholarship recipients and others who have worked together with the China Center to build stronger bridges of exchange between the U.S. and China. This event features a keynote speaker or performance, a poster session for the scholarship recipients and a scrumptious Chinese meal.

The year of the Ox was rung in differently. Because of the China Center's milestone 30th anniversary celebrated this year, the event was free and open to the public in order to allow all China Center partners, friends, and community members to attend. The evening started with the eighth annual Bob and Kim Griffin Building U.S.-China Bridges Lecture and was followed by a reception.
