    This fellowship is awarded to full-time graduate students on the Twin Cities Campus who have a strong connection to or demonstrated interest in China and Chinese culture. Recipients are selected from the following fields of study: civil engineering, hydro-mechanics, water resources and architecture.  

    Bob & Kim Griffin Building US-China Bridges Lecture Series
    Endowed 2004

    This endowment fund supports the Bob and Kim Griffin Building U.S.-China Bridges Lecture, a highly visible lecture free and open to the public.  The goal of the lecture is to promote mutual respect and understanding between American and Chinese peoples by providing a venue for experts in U.S.-China relations to share their thoughts and insights with a broad university and greater-community audience.

    Jennie & Fred Hsiao Scholarship Fund
    Endowed 2001

    This scholarship fund provides an opportunity for University of Minnesota students to incorporate an educational experience in China as part of their studies.  This scholarship is available to full-time undergraduate, professional, or graduate students in all fields of study and can be applied to internship or professional training in China.
